Secondary School

The secondary school is one of the most important stages in the lives of learners, as it focuses on preparing students and harnessing their mental abilities and potential. Our schools, Al-Bassam Schools, are academic and educational incubators that provide students with a distinguished educational system, offering three academic years with eight classes per day.

Students study the ministry's curriculum as well as some enrichment programs under the supervision of qualified educational and administrative staff, and specialized supervisory team. Al-Bassam Schools have made sure to offer programs that align with the changing requirements of the era, including the IELTS program, which focuses on training for the English language test for those wishing to study abroad.

Our schools also ensure to equip our students with the necessary skills to pass the aptitude and achievement tests through weekly sessions and intensive courses for the secondary stage, supporting them in choosing their university majors and future directions through university orientation events to introduce them to the requirements, whether local or international. Additionally, assistance is provided to students through the supervision of their high school graduation project to demonstrate their acquisition of a set of basic skills in their career path.

The Bassam schools have been keen on providing programs that align with the changing needs of the era, including the STEAM program, an educational system that aims to integrate (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) into the curriculum to prepare students' minds to deal with situations that require scientific experience, in addition to the Cambridge curriculum, which is a high-level curriculum aimed at developing students' understanding skills in the English language.

One of our priorities is to discover students' talents through Mawhiba program, which aims to nurture the gifted to develop their creative skills and hone them so they can represent the schools in international competitions and achieve advanced positions in them. We also support students with special needs and provide them with the necessary support through the support unit in the school.

The clubs serve as an outlet for students to pursue their passions and interests outside the classroom environment. In our schools, there are weekly morning clubs, as well as summer clubs in which students can volunteer and actively participate to earn documented volunteer hours.

The Bassam schools are striving to take steady steps in the field of effective leadership in accordance with the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to create a generation capable of leadership. This is achieved through the student parliament, which attracts student participation in decision-making and problem-solving in the school, selecting educational and recreational school trips, as well as programs to support young projects for our students.
