Middle school is of great importance in building the student's personality. Therefore, in our schools that have received several international accreditations, we are keen on helping our students develop their personalities to become leaders of Vision 2030.
Our education system in middle school consists of three academic years, with eight classes per day where students study the ministry's curriculum in addition to some enrichment programs supervised by qualified educational and administrative staff.
Al Bassam schools have also introduced programs that align with the changing requirements of the era, such as the STEAM program, which integrates (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) in the curriculum to prepare students to handle situations that require scientific experience. Additionally, the Cambridge curriculum aims to develop students' English language comprehension skills.
Our schools also focus on equipping students with the necessary skills to pass the capacity and achievement tests through weekly sessions for middle school. One of our priorities is to discover students' talents through a talent program that aims to nurture talented individuals to develop their creative skills and represent the schools in international competitions to achieve advanced positions.
We also support students with special needs through the support unit in the school. Clubs provide students with an outlet to pursue their passions and interests outside the classroom. In our schools, there are morning clubs as well as summer clubs where students can volunteer and actively participate to gain documented volunteer hours.
The Bassam Schools are striving to make steady progress in the field of effective leadership, in line with the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to create a generation capable of leadership. This is achieved through the student parliament, which involves students in decision-making, problem-solving, and the selection of educational and recreational school trips.
